Dylan Roskams-Edris, JD

Network Lead, Education and Events

Dylan is Conscience’s Network Lead for Education and Events. He started with a B.Sc. in Neuroscience from McGill—including stints in labs working with yeast, mice, and human data—moved on to a Masters of Health Ethics from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and ended his educational peregrination with a JD from Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie, specializing in intellectual property and healthcare policy.

After law school he followed his irrepressibly collaborative nature and started working on open science, writing publication and commercialization policies for the Canadian Open Neuroscience Platform before transitioning into 4 years as the Open Science Alliance Officer for the Tanenbaum Open Science Institute at The Neuro in Montreal.

Dylan brings this experience and expertise combined with his ability to connect with and understand the needs of diverse stakeholders to help Conscience build and maintain the network open science drug discovery will need in order to transform how we make and access medicines.

Dylan lives in Victoria, BC, where he can usually be found hiking, dancing, or reading a good book.
