We are building a dynamic network of researchers, industry leaders, SMEs, and other professionals committed to advancing open science through radical collaboration. Our mission is to accelerate knowledge sharing, foster meaningful connections, convene key stakeholders, drive collective action, and provide practical tools and support to develop accessible medicines.
By joining the Conscience Network, you can become part of a vibrant community dedicated to advancing drug discovery through open science.
We offer three types of membership:

Community Membership
Anyone can become a Community Member by signing up here. This will add you to our contact list and subscribe you to our newsletter, ensuring that you are one of the first to hear about our news, events, and announcements.
Participating Membership
Our Participating Members form the active core of our community, driving collaboration and innovation in drug discovery. Through engagement in our programs, knowledge sharing, and new ways of working together, they help shape the future of open science. This community includes academics and industry researchers from our CACHE Challenges and DMOS program, but is open to anyone.
Participating Members benefit from:
- Increased visibility & outreach: We can help amplify your work by sharing your papers, tools, datasets, results, or job postings through our newsletter and social media. We will also be happy to include you in our webinars or networking events.
- Discounted event & training benefits: Enjoy discounted registration for Conscience events and training opportunities, plus early access to new programs as they become available.
- Access to expertise & connections: Gain direct access to our network and experts. For instance, if you’re exploring a new development in computational or open drug discovery, we can connect you with relevant resources, key contacts, or feature your topic in our monthly issue trackers and policy briefs.
Participating Membership is $300 CAD per year, with special rates available for students and members of non-profit patient organizations. CACHE Challenge participants and DMOS grantees receive complimentary membership in recognition of their contributions to our community.

Institutional Membership
Institutional Members are organizations that believe in our mission and are committed to transforming drug discovery through open science. They bring valuable perspectives to our work, and we support them in integrating open science into their operations.
Institutional Members benefit from:
- Promotion and visibility: We will prioritize content you ask us to share through our newsletter and social media, and feature you in our events and webinars.
- Exclusive event & training benefits: You will receive free and discounted tickets for Conscience events and training opportunities for all employees.
- Acknowledgement: You will be recognized as a key supporter in our communications and a sponsor of our events.
- Direct support for open science adoption: You can request direct support from Conscience for briefs on relevant open science topics and crafting open science strategies.
Institutional Membership is $5,000 CAD per year. Members of our CACHE Governing Board receive complimentary membership in recognition of their leadership in shaping our work.
