Anne Fortier is Conscience`s Vice President of Drug Discovery and Development. She is a drug hunter, a strong problem-solving person and an accomplished project leader with a track record of successfully delivering first-in-class small molecule agents, including Inaxaplin.
She holds a PhD in Biochemistry from McGill University`s Centre for the Study of Host Resistance and is an expert in scientific area spanning from immunological and infectious diseases to rare genetic, gastrointestinal and renal diseases. Prior to joining Conscience, she has been a post doctoral fellow at Trudeau Institute, she has fulfilled key leadership and strategic roles over 10+ years in the pharmaceutical insdustry at Vertex and has been an independant consultant supporting and mentoring biotech startups.
After living in Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York State, Anne is back in the Eastern Townships where she nurtures her forest garden and makes her maple syrup.
