Resham Chhabra, PhD

Program Manager, Drug Discovery and Development

Resham Chhabra is Conscience’s Program Manager for Drug Discovery and Development. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine with a focus on Neuroscience and Nanomedicine from Ulm University, Germany, and an M.Sc. in Neuroscience with a specialization in Neurodegeneration from King’s College London, England. Her research covered a broad spectrum of experimental work, from diagnostic tools and basic science to nanomedical approaches for treating synaptopathies.

Resham also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Division of Neuropathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, USA, and served as the Vice President of Programs for the Association for Women in Science Baltimore Chapter. Prior to joining Conscience, she was a Program Manager for Neuroscience at the Weston Brain Institute.

Resham has a diverse and international professional background, having lived in India, England, Germany, and the United States before settling in Canada. In addition to her professional life, she is a private pilot, scuba diver, and an outdoor enthusiast.
